Option to follow a Author

When we read an article, generally we think of to check the other article published by the author. i would be great if we can provide a follow author option .so that we can able to know he/she has published an article and can read it . there are many benefits for Author and Reader both. 1.Reader Can always updated what he wanted to read. 2.Author will get more publcity/Pointst/respect/ etc. how many people are following them. These are just two advantage, but i am sure . there will be lot of benefits.
