Workaround for Stuck Solutions While Exporting in Power Apps

Sometimes, it happens that your solution gets stuck while importing or exporting in Power Apps (as shown in the image below). Even if you try multiple times, you don’t get a zip file download pop-up or anything. In this blog, I am going to show you how you can overcome this issue in your tenant or Power Apps environment.

Introduction

Sometimes, it happens that your solution gets stuck while importing or exporting in Power Apps (as shown in the image below). Even if you try multiple times, you don’t get a zip file download pop-up or anything. In this blog, I am going to show you how you can overcome this issue in your tenant or Power Apps environment.

In the Solutions history, the export operation might be showing as “Success”, however still the zip file download doesn’t pop-up in the browser.

Workaround

Step 1. Click on three dots (…) inside Solutions and navigate to Solutions Classic Mode as shown below:

Step 2. Perform the export from there.  It may take a while, but eventually, your browser will indicate a Download of the solution zip file.
