Who owns your WPF Application?

When you build a WPF application, do you wonder who owns your application? Definitely not you! You heard me right.

Right click on your WPF application exe (assembly) and go to the Details tab on Properties. You will see Copyright is Microsoft :) as shown below. At this point, if you give your Application to any client, technically and legally, Microsoft owns it.

You can change this information and make sure you own it.

Click on Show All Files icon in Solution Explorer and you will see AssemblyInfo.cs file under Properties folder.

You may edit this file and change Assembly information such as title, description, company name, copyright, and trademark.
