Generally when use internet on our android
phone we have seen some symbols near our network indicator i.e. H, E, G, 3G and
2Gd
Meaning of the symbol 3G and H while using
internet
A very first step you have to know about '3G'.
Which indicates towards the third generation and when you surf the internet then
it gives you the speed of 250 kbps to 350 kbps?
'H' stands for HSPDA (High Speed Downlink
Packet Access) higher version of 3G, the speed in this is at least 7.2 mbps or
higher. This mode permits you to enjoy the power of internet surfing/downloading
or uploading. There is an exception in both 3G and H, a few of persons says that
3G is more powerful than H.
Let's have a look what these symbols say:
G = 1G (GPRS)
E = EDGE (2.5G)
3G =3G
H (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) = 3.5G (HSPA+), HSPA 14.4 (really just a
3G standard, marketed as 4G)
4G=4G
In order of speed: 4G > H > 3G > E
If the signal indicator says H, it won't also
say 4G unless the phone is capable of LTE, which this phone is not
