In this blog, we will discuss the use of Hero Web part in SharePoint Online. This web part allows us to display up to 5 pieces of content with links, images, pictures, and videos in various layouts.

Creation and use of Hero Web part in SharePoint Online Page

• For inserting the Hero Web part in the Site Page, select Edit on the top right of the page and put the page in edit mode. Click on the + circled icon and select the Hero web part. Click on Hero and Insert the web part.

• After inserting the web part, the default layout will be displayed as under:

• Click on the Edit Web part button on the top which will open the property panel on the right of the page. Select the required layout from the property panel i.e., from tiles or layers. The maximum we can select is 5 tiles or 5 layers**.**

• Next, select the required link by clicking on Select Link in the Hero Web part on the site page.

• Once the link is selected, click the edit button at the end of the web part to open the property panel on the right side of the screen.

• In the property Panel, select from the options Link, Background Image, and Options to customize the web part as per the requirement. Various options available are:
