US Phone users are getting Smarter

Are mobile users in United States getting smarter or dumber day by day? In a report published by Neilsen, 50.4% of the mobile subscribers in US now own 50.4% smart phones.

Google's Android leads the smart phone operating system by 48.5% followed by Apple's iOS by 32%. I am not sure if Windows 8 is a thread to Android but Windows Phone still nowhere to be found in the United States. It captured only 1.7% of smart phone market.

Guess what? Almost 60% of female has smart phones compare to 50% of male subscribers. Most popular age group is between 25 to 34.
