Introduction
MS SQL Server manages large databases and users faced multiple issues or errors with the databases.
This time, we will talk about the Stellar Toolkit for MS SQL. The software has 3 components. One to repair the corrupt SQL data files (MDF & NDF), another to repair the backup file (.BAK). The last one is to restore lost passwords of SA and user in SQL Server.

For a successful installation, the user needs to follow some simple steps as I will show. The first step is to download the Stellar Toolkit for MS SQL and run its setup as an administrator. You will see the Setup window look like the below screenshot.
When you press the next button on the setup window you will see the next window look like the below screenshot.
In this step, you need a mark on the checkbox that says “I accept the agreement” and press the next button. In the next step, you need to set up the location where you want to install the software. Otherwise, Stellar Toolkit for MS SQL will automatically select the location. In the screenshot that you will be seen. In this, the setup of Stellar Toolkit automatically selects the location on my computer.
Press the next button and you will see some simple more steps and press the install button maybe it will take a while. Now you will see a window with the finish button and on the same window, you will also lunch the software. Now, you will able to see the home screen of the Stellar Toolkit for MS SQL. See the below screenshot.
Stellar Toolkit for MS SQL is software that will recover, repair and restore all the MS SQL Database objects for us. Stellar Toolkit works on all the components of the MS SQL Database; for example Views, Tables, Triggers and etc. The Stellar Toolkit also recovers Databases from corrupted backup files. This software supports multiple versions of the MS SQL Server. In addition, this software is also compatible with multiple windows operating systems.
In the Stellar Toolkit for MS SQL, you will see three types of services.

Repair MS SQL Database
When you select the option, one you will see a new window called “Stellar Repair for MS SQL”.
In the current window, you see an instruction window. The instruction window tells the user if any services of MS SQL Server are running, please stop them and copy the database to a different location. If there are no services already running, then press the “OK” button. Otherwise, end the running service and restart the software. Then press the "OK" button you will be able to see a new window that looks like the below window.
Click the “Browse” button and select the database that you want to repair from your computer directories.
Here, you can see that I select a database from my computer directories. If you only want to repair the database, press the repair button, or if you also want to recover your deleted records from the database you need to mark the checkbox and then press the "Repair" button. It takes some minutes to repair, depending on the database size. When the database is repaired successfully, you will see a new window called "Repair Complete" with Repaired Successfully message.
Press the “OK” button on the Repaired Complete window. Now you can see the results and also able to save your results in multiple file extensions.
On the top left corner, you will see the “Save” button on the right side of the select database button. Press the button, and you will see a new window called “Save Database” with multiple options.
Stellar Toolkit for MS SQL also provides a service to save your repaired database as CSV, HTML, XML and MDF file format. Select the new database option and write the server name and select the type of authentication. Press the "Save" button. Users can see a progress bar running on the bottom of the window.
The database is successfully saved after a few minutes.
Recover MS SQL Password
With the help of this tool, we will change the password of our database. The first thing is to select the second option from the Stellar Toolkit for MS SQL. Then you will see a new window open. It is “Stellar Password Recovery for MS SQL”.
Press the “Browse” button and select the database from your directories. You will see a user list in the window. Select the user from the list.
Now press the button on the bottom called “Change Password”. A new change password window will open where the user can write a new password.
After writing the new password, press the “OK” button. And your password is successfully changed.
Extract from MS SQL backup:
When you select the last option in Stellar Toolkit for MS SQL, Then a window with a sub-window called “Stellar Backup Extractor for MS SQL”.
In this window, the user can press the “Select File”. With the help of this option, you can see the directories and select the file.
In this window, you can see all the backup files and select a backup file and press the scene button.
Select the backup file and press the “Next” button.
Now, select the version of the MS SQL Server.
You can skip this and will see all the recovered results.
After that, press the “Save” button and the user will see a new window like below.
Users can choose one of these options to save the files in corresponding file extensions.
You can save your database as a new database.
In this window, you can see progress bar on the bottom of the window maybe it will take some time and your file will be successfully saved on your computer.
