If you are one of those early adopters of Windows 8, I am
sure you have heard the missing Start button story. Here I am after several
months of using Windows and finding live simpler using one of the third part
Start button utilities and life is just going on.
But I am not the only one. Betanews
is reporting that almost one third of users may have installed Windows 8 Start
button. If one third of 60 million Windows 8 users are using an alternative
Start Button, why don't Microsoft just provide it? Put a patch and let us have
it.
You can add
start menu / button to Windows 8 using one of several third party tools. While
some users are installing these third party utilities, some are trying to create their
own Windows 8 Start menu.
I hope Microsoft is watching this trend.
