A. Steps to re-index the site
- Go to your site settings page of the site.
- Go to search - search and offline availability.
- Now, click on button Reindex site and follow the pop-up Window.
- Now, you can search items in your site and validate search result outcome.
B. Steps to re-index the library
- Login to your SharePoint site and to the particular SharePoint list or document library.
- Click on Library or List breadcrumb on top left corner
- Select Library settings or List Settings.
- Click Advanced Setting
- This step is only for Document Library
Click on Reindex Document Library to re-index the contents in this document library.
- This step is required only for List
Click on Reindex List to re-index the contents in this List.
- Now, you can search an item in your List or Library and validate the search results outcome.
