Ports Required For SharePoint Server Migration

This blog enables you to get the ports required for SharePoint Server migration.

I recently had a project of SharePoint 2010, which needs to be migrated from old Server to a new Server.

It was just Server migration and not SharePoint migration.

My networking team doesn't know how to find the ports, which should be opened in a new Server to communicate with each other and for all the other important SharePoint functionality to work.

Thus, I prepared a list of the port numbers, which are required for my SharePoint Farm.

My SharePoint Farm consists of,

1. 2 Application Servers.
2. 2 Web Front End Servers.
3. 1 SQL Servers.
4. Domain Controllers.

The list of ports required to be opened on the new Servers are given below.
