No Valid Proxy can be found to do this operation:

 

When I was trying to publish the content type I was getting the following error.

 

The reason is Managed Metadata service application that I have created is not mapped to the web application where I have the content type hub.

 

How to resolve it:

 

·         Go to Central Administration => Application Management => Manage web applications =>Select the web application where the content type hub is present.

·         In the ribbon interface, select Service Connections.

·         Select the Managed Metadata service application and click on Ok.

·         Now go to the content type hub and publish the content type.

·         Content Type will be published successfully.
