Site content types are defined to the site level permission and ladder. We are learning this in detail from SharePoint fist version and getting a lot of new features and functionally from each and every latest version.
The latest version of SharePoint online is called Cloud based SharePoint. So, now, we will see about Site content types on SharePoint online.

How to create new site content type
- Go to Site Setting from gear box on the site page and select "Site content types" from Web Designer Galleries option.

- Select "Create" from the Site Content Types page.

- On the next page, select site content Name, Description, Parent content type, and Group.

- Once done, wait for some time and the system will create a new content type that will be visible to the next page. It will redirect on the next screen automatically.
