To change PHP version, follow the steps given below.
STEP 1
Login to your
cPanel account.
STEP 2
Click select PHP version given below the Software/Services section.
STEP 3
Here, you can see the list of available modules and extensions.
If you don’t have to change PHP version and simply need to turn on/off specific extensions, you can do this by checking/unchecking the corresponding boxes.
Work with PHP version drop-down box to choose the required version, click Set as current, so as to apply the changes.
Click Switch to PHP settings to change individual settings within PHP version in question.
NOTE
The “native” PHP version will not allow changing any options.
STEP 4
By clicking on one of many options (in grey), it can be offered with a drop-down list to change particular settings. Press Apply to implement/change the settings.
NOTE 1
It is suggested to update your Website scripts and use PHP 5.4.
NOTE 2
In case you are using php.ini files to edit your account PHP configuration, you will have to repeat the custom values by using PHP Selector tool.
