Getting Started with Azure RemoteApp Service

In this blog you will create apps and resources by using the Azure Portal.

Azure RemoteApp

Azure RemoteApp offers the functionality of the on-premises Microsoft RemoteApp program, backed by Remote Desktop Services, to Azure. Azure RemoteApp supports you by offering secure, remote access to applications from many different user devices.

Prerequisites

•  Azure account.

Now let's get started with the following steps:

Create a Batch Account

Step 1: Sign in to the online Microsoft Azure Portal.

Step 2: In the Jump bar, click New > Virtual Machines > RemoteApp.

Step 3

Next we will get the old portal. Click Quick create and enter a name for your collection. Then Select the region you want to use to create your collection. Next select the billing plan you want to use. Finally, select the Office 2013 professional image.

 

 

This starts creating your collection, but it will take up to an hour.
