What is Search Center?
- Search center is used to get the search results from SharePoint sites, using search query; by default search center is available in SharePoint online.
- In Search center, there are several pages and they are called search verticals.
- We can customize the search vertical, as we need. Below are the default search verticals in SharePoint online-
- People
- Conversation
- Videos

Steps to change the Search Center URL
Follow the listed steps, given below-
Step 1 - Open “Microsoft Online Portal” (Admin Center) in your Browser.
Step 2 - Select SharePoint from left navigation, as shown below-
Step 3 - On SharePoint admin page, choose search from left navigation, you will navigate to search administration page.
Step 4 - Click Search Center settings in search administration page.
Step 5 - On “Search Center settings” page, we have the text box to enter our new site collection URL, as shown below-
Step 6 - Provide your new URL on the text box and Click “Ok”.
I have already created new search center.
Finally, search center will be changed successfully.
