Computers and programming languages are developed based on binary numbers (0s and 1s). Binary number system was introduced by an Indian scholar way before computers were born.

Computers and programming languages are developed based on binary numbers (0s and 1s). Today, I was writing about binary classes in C# and did some research on binary numbers. Interestingly enough, according to Wikipedia, the binary numbers were used by an Indian scholar named Pingala around 5^th-2^nd centuries B.C.
