For example, an app for SharePoint may no longer be needed or could become too much of a distraction to employees. The following procedure provides steps for removing (or uninstalling) an app.
Steps to uninstall the SharePoint apps
Follow the below steps to remove the app from your SharePoint site.
Step 1
Open your SharePoint site.
Step 2
Then, click on Site content from left navigation or using gear menu.
Step 3
On the Site contents page, select the app and click the ellipsis button, as shown below.
Step 4
After you click the ellipsis button, you can see the “REMOVE” option to uninstall the app.
Step 5
Click on the "Remove" button. It will show the confirmation dialog. Click “OK” for confirmation of removal of the app.
Step 9
Wait until it removes the app or client side webpart.
Finally, the app or client side (SPFx) webpart will be removed from your site.
