SQL Server 2019 Introduced the addition of working with large-scale data and analytics with the new “Big Data Clusters” feature. This release of SQL Server runs on Kubernetes and includes not only the ability to store and process massive amounts of Relational Data, but the ability to connect to external data systems seamlessly, and even includes a complete Spark subsystem to work with structured and non-structured data natively. In this session, Buck Woody from the Microsoft Engineering team will explain all of the components of Big Data Clusters, and how they work together.
