Prerequisite- Correctly installed and configured SharePoint Server 2013. Note: My current SharePoint Farm is having Single-tier architecture which means everything is installed on a single Server. Here is the process of installing and configuring the Project Server 2013.
Project Server runs as Service Application in SharePoint. So let’s start Configure Project Server 2013 Application service.
Fill the Particulars Project Services application name: Daf Project Server Service Application. You can use existing Application Pool or New Application Pool but make sure account users for Application Pool are registeredas managed accounts in SharePoint. I am using exiting Application Pool. You can cross check whether Project Server Service Application was successfully created or not by clicking Application Management -- > Manage service applications Next Step is to Create Project Web App. Go to Central Administration-- > Application Management -- > Manage service application -- > click on newly created Project Server Service Application. Click on Create Project Web App Instance. Note: You can use new web application or existing web Application. I am using existing one for test purposes.Fill the desired particulars and click ok. Provisioning of Project Web Apps start and finish in a while just stay patient. Now you are done.
