With over 35 years of experience designing and deploying highly distributed applications, I have successfully managed over 100 innovative projects for various industries such as aviation, heat engineering, power engineering, and mining. I am also the creator of the "Process Observer" concept, the architect behind the CommServer™ communication software package utilized for optimizing data transfer, and the author and architect of the SmartFactory™ workflow management system.I've been an active member of the OPC Foundation for 14 years, participating in projects that pertain to the design, adoption, deployment, and maintenance of the OPC Unified Architecture.I have a Master's in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Process Control Engineering and Robotics from the Technical University of Lodz (TUL).I am engaged in many research projects as a researcher, university teacher, and scientist at the Technical University of Lodz (TUL). I am the author of a vast variety of publications, lectures, presentations, classes, and training sessions.Recently I’ve been working on a Programming in Practice discipline.
