Brief
This article is about the localization feature of SharePoint Online Modern Sites. Some exciting news for SharePoint Modern Site users is that Microsoft rolled out a very important feature which will allow effortless translation of languages with dependency on developers. This will increase team engagement.
How to Enable the Multiple Languages
To get the benefit of different languages in SharePoint online, simply enable the multilingual publishing feature.
Go to Site Setting >> Language setting >> Enable Pages Translations as shown in screen shot.
The Role of Translator
From here your journey towards an intelligent intranet will begin. Also it will enable language options on the Home Page, as well as translation options, as shown in the screen shot.
Once you click on Translations then it will show the below options. You can click on Create Option to communicate with the locally-assigned translator .
Then it will communicate with users via email. Refer to the screenshot of the email below.
Once you click on French language then you apply translations and the page will look like this after publishing.
Similarly all options like Menu, Web Part Headers , Announcement header, etc. can be changed.
