Introduction
This article will teach you how to integrate your own domain address into Microsoft 365. In this article, I have chosen my DNS provider, Azure DNS.
Step 1
Open the Microsoft 365 Admin center using portal.office.com, and click Admin.
Step 2
In the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, click Show all.
Step 3
Select Domains under the Settings.
Step 4
In the Adding Domain page, click + Add domain.
Step 5
In the Add domain page, enter your domain name and click Use this domain.
Step 6
In the Domain verification, select Add a TXT record to the domain's records and click Continue.
Step 7
The Microsoft 365 portal automatically detects the DNS hosting provider. In this article, our DNS is hosted in Azure, so we need to add the TXT name in the Azure DNS zone.
Copy the TXT value.
Step 8
Go to your Azure Portal, open the DNS zone, select your DNS name, and click + Record set.
Step 9
In the Add record set, we can leave the Name. If we leave the Name, the default value is @. Select the Type as TXT - Text record type, enter the Value we have copied from the Microsoft 365 portal, and click Add.
Step 10
Copy the MX Records, CNAME Records, and TXT RecordsPoints to address Values and the TXT Values.
Step 11
Go to your Azure Portal, open the DNS zone, select your DNS name, click + Record set, leave the Name as blank, select the Type as MX – Mail eXchange record, and enter the Preference as 0 and Mail exchange value.
Step 12
Click + Record set, paste the Name enter the Value we have copied from the Microsoft 365 portal, select the Type as CNAME – Link your subdomain to another record, and paste the AliasValue we have copied from the Microsoft 365 portal.
Step 13
Open the TXT value, paste the Value we have copied from the Microsoft 365 portal.
Step 14
After adding the DNS values, click Continue.
Step 15
We have successfully completed the Domain setup.
Step 16
Click Active users under the Users and click Add a user.

Click the Domains dropdown arrow and select your domain.
