Introduction
In order to learn and observe new features that are present in Dynamics CRM, it is important to spin a trial instance every now and then, in this blog, I am going to guide the step-by-step process to create a new CRM trial instance.
Step 1. Go here, and select whatever modules that are required to explore, here I have selected Customer Service as shown below.
Step 2. As shown below click on Sign up here or give your work email or password. Here I chose the sign up here hyperlink as shown below.
Step 3. Once we click on sign up a new popup window will appear, select No, and continue signing up as shown in the below diagram.
Step 4. Once you click on no, then it will navigate to another new window as shown in the below diagram, and provide a personal email address in step 1. Let’s set up your account and click on next.
Step 5. After entering your personal email address and clicking on next, you will see a setup account as shown in the below screenshot.
Step 6. Click on Setup Account fill in all the details as shown in below screenshot and click on Next as shown in the below screenshot.
Step 7. Once you click on next, under step 2 tell us about yourself provide your mobile number, and select either text or call me option, here I choose the text me option and click on Send Verification code button as shown below.
Step 8. Enter the verification code and click on verify as shown below screenshot.
Step 9. After successful verification, navigation will go to the next point Create your business identity provide your name, and see for availability, if the domain is available then the next button will be highlighted as shown below.
Step 10. Once click on next, now create a User ID and password to sign in to your account as shown below select the check box and click on the Signup button.
Step 11. If everything works fine you should see a username created for the selected user id in step 10 as shown below. Now click on the Started button.
Step 12. Give the username and password as shown below and click on submit. It will take some time to set up a trial environment background.
Step 13. We will be navigated here and you can see a few default environments will be created as shown below.
Step 14. If we need to create a new environment, click on the + button here. If it doesn’t log in, then log in with the user name and password that is used while creating of trial instance as shown below.
Step 15. Once click on the + button, a quick view on the right side will be opened with the New Environment provide name, Type as Trial[Subscription-based], and region, and click on the Next button.
Step 16. The added database window will be shown in the below screenshot, click on save to save it.
Step 17. It will take some time to create a new environment in the background and you can refresh, and you can see the environment state as ready, which infers the environment is ready.
Step 18. Select the above newly created environment bootcamppower and select either open environment at the top or select … and select open environment as shown in the below figure.
Step 19. After selecting the open environment button user will be redirected to the CRM instance that is created in point number 18.
