In SharePoint Site, Quick launch is very helpful for any SharePoint page developer for accessing the different pages or other resources with just a single click, but the quick launch has drawbacks in utilizing the space of the SharePoint Page, and it doesn’t look good.

So, in this article, I will discuss the steps of how you can hide the quick launch from the SharePoint communication site.

Follow the steps below

Go to the Communication site and here you can see the quick launch links next to your site name

Click the Gear option and then click on site information.

It will take you to another menu option where you can edit site name option and below you can view all site settings, clicking on it will take you to the site setting page

Here you can Look and Feel which will list down the options for quick launch and change the look, there is no option to directly enable or disable quick launch, but we can achieve it by adding the below text to your site URL.

/_layouts/15/navoptions.aspx

Once you add navoptions to your site URL it will redirect you to the below page where you can see the checkbox option to enable the quick launch, It is by default checked so just uncheck it and click on the OK button below.

Once you complete all steps go back to the home page of your site you won’t be able to see the quick launch navigation bar.
