What is storage sense?
Microsoft Windows Storage Sense is a silent process that runs in the background of both Windows 10 & 11. It frees up space by removing locally available files, that you aren't using anymore, or by removing old temporary and/or cached files from your local c: drive.
Benefits of storage sense
Storage Sense can automatically free up drive space for you by getting rid of items that you don't need, like temporary files and items in your Recycle Bin. Here's more info on how it works and how to set it up to meet your needs.
Step 1. On your Windows settings click “system”.
Step 2. Click “storage”.
Step 3. Click “Storage sense”.
Step 4. Click “on” after you can customize this feature to your needs. here I keep the as default if you want to change those settings you can change your needs.
Note. Now your storage sense automatically clears all temporary files.
