Create Microsoft Azure Account Using Azure Pass

 

Today I’m going to show you how to activate Microsoft Azure Pass for your Azure Subscription. If you are an MCT you can request the Azure pass through https://vouchers.cloudapp.net/AzurePass/.

They provide a $100 USD credit to use to setup an Azure account; it's only for 30 days or if you reach the $100 credit your account expires. The Pass is valid only for 90 days.

Request the Azure Pass using vouchers.cloudapp.net

Step 1

Log in to https://vouchers.cloudapp.net/AzurePass/ using your outlook / Hotmail account

Step 2

Enter your First Name, Last Name, Email ID, MCT ID and the class date, enter your information and click Next.

Step 3

Read the Terms and Conditions and select I accept and then click Next.

Step 4

Now you select I’m not a robot and then select finish.

After finishing the window, you can check your email, then Voucher code will be there.

How to Active Azure Pass?

Step 1

Log on to https://www.microsoftazurepass.com/ and then Click Start and Sign in your Account using Hotmail / Outlook Account, if you don’t have one create the account using https://login.live.com/.

Step 2

After signing in to your Outlook account click Confirm Microsoft Account.

Step 3

Enter the Promo Code that you received from https://vouchers.cloudapp.net/AzurePass/,  and click Claim Promo Code.

Step 4

If the Promo Code is valid you can get the Active Screen, click Activate.

Step 5

On this Window fill in your information and click Sign Up

Step 6

On this Window you can select "or get started with your Azure Subscription"

Step 7

Your Azure account is Ready - Click Maybe later and Enjoy Azure Service

Step 8

Now you can check your Azure credit amount.

Yes, now you can access your Azure Portal, if you want to keep the credit level for up to one month, stop the server and services when you finish the lab session.

You can use Azure Pass only one time for each Outlook / Hotmail account, if you want to access it again you need to setup another Outlook / Hotmail account.
