Introduction
In today's article you will learn how to install Remote Access in Windows Server 2012.
Step 1
First login to your Windows Server 2012 as an Administrator, when your login is completed Server Manager will be opened automatically, if it doesn't open then you must open it manually.
Now in the Server Manager click on the Manage Button to open the "Add Roles and Features" to add the new feature.
Step 2
Now a new window will be opened in which a few instructions would be given, click on "Next".
Step 3
Now you will be asked for an "Installation type" from which you need to select the first option and then click on "Next".
Step 4
Now you need to select the server from the Server Pool. Since I have only one server in the Server Pool, my server is selected by default.
After selecting the server click on "Next".
Step 5
Now a List of Rolls will appear in front of you, from this list you must select "Remote Access".
As you select the Remote Access a new Window will be opened that will ask you to Add Features. Click on "Add Features" and then click on "Next".
Step 6
Now a list of features will be available for you to select, you can select any feature if you want to install and then click on "Next" or simply click on "Next" without selecting any feature.
The next page will provide you information about the Remote Access. On this page click on "Next" Button.
Step 7
On the next page you must select the Roll Service to be installed for the Remote Access.
The next page is the final page which is a confirmation page. This page will provide you information about the selection made by you. On this page click on "Install" to start the installation process.
Now your installation will begin and it will take a few minutes depending on the processing power of your server.
