Introduction
In this article, you will learn how to configure the FTP Directory Browsing Options.

Now, use the following procedure to configure the FTP Directory Browsing options.
Step 1. First of all, open the "Administrative Tools" from the Start Menu.
Now the Administrative Tools window will be opened, in this window many options are available that will represent the features that are installed on your system, among these options is one option named "IIS Manager", double-click on this option to open it.
Step 2. Now a new window will be opened, here on the extreme left-hand side, your "Desktop name" will be shown, you must click on this.
Now a message will be opened that will ask you to connect to the Microsoft Web Platform, you can either click on "Yes" or can click on "No" to deny the permission.
Step 3. Now, in the Features View, you must open the "FTP Directory Browsing".
In the Directory Listing Style, you can either click on "MS-DOS" or on "UNIX".
If you click on MS-DOS, then it will show the Directory Content in a manner consistent with MS-DOS, and if you click on UNIX, then it will show the Directory Content in a manner consistent with UNIX.
Step 4. In the Directory Listing options, three options will be available for selection. If you click on the first option, in other words, Virtual Directories, then it will show the Virtual Directories.
If you select the second option, in other words, Available Bytes, then this option will display the size in bytes.
If you select the third option, in other words, Four Digits Years, then this option will display the years using four digits rather than using two digits.
Step 5. Now your selection process will be completed, and the page will look something like this.
After this, you need to click on the "Apply" button provided under the "Action" tab.
