SQL Azure - Check New Database Approved Count for a Single Subscription

Introduction:


In this article we are going to see how to check the New Database approved count for a Single Subscription.

Overview:


Since Windows Azure licenses depend on the subscription the user normally registers with, the number of databases approved will vary based on the subscription. In this article we are going to see for the base subscription which normally Microsoft provides for Community learning purpose. Let us jump start to see the number of approved new database count step by step

Steps:


Log in to the Azure portal using the below link. You can see the screen look similar to below.

Login to the portal using your Microsoft Windows Live credentials with Azure credentials to the Management Portal and you will see the screen as shown in the screen below:

Now we will see the Database Menu at the bottom left. Click on that to go to the Database Subscription window as shown in the screen below:

Clicking on the subscription name will provide the complete details of the server created and the new databases created as shown in the screen below:

Now Select a particular server to which we need to check the database count approved and the created database count as shown in the screen below:

Once we selected the Server and the database as shown above we have an option at the Right side menu where we can see the Database Quota and the Database Count as shown in the screen below:
