Step 1
First, we have to move on Start window screen in Windows 8.
Step 2
Then click on the Desktop icon present in the Windows 8 Start screen.

Then right-click on the "MyComputer" icon on the Desktop window and click on the Manage tab in the drop down menu.

On performing this task a new window will appear on your screen with the name Computer Management as shown in the following image.

Then under the Storage category just click on the Disk Management tab; you will see a window similar to as shown in the following image.

Then select the drive which you want to hide and right-click on that drive, then from the drop down menu click on Change Drive letter and path. For example here we choose drive E.

On performing this task a new window will appear on your screen and then just click on the remove button.

When you click on the remove button then something will appear on your screen. This window warns you about the programs and contents present in the current drive if you agree then click on the Yes button.
When you click on the Yes button the selected drive will be hidden automatically.
Step 9
If you want to get back the drives then you have to follow all 4 steps and instead of clicking on the remove button click on the Add button.
Step 10
When you click on the add button a new window will appear named Add Drive Letter or Path then in this window click on the radio button labeled Assign the following drive letter and assign the drive from the dropdown.
