Introduction
Windows 8 provides us many features and many notifications appearing on the Windows 8 screen. When these notifications appear in access then the users usually fade-up to see these notification. Hence sometimes it is necessary to disable these notifications. However we have many ways to do that. We will use the registry editor to perform this action.
So in this article we will learn how to disable balloon notification completely with the help of the registry editor.
How to Disable the Balloon Notification?
Step 1
First of all we have to move to the Start screen window of Windows 8.
Step 2
Then move the cursor on the bottom-right of the window screen and click the search box which is helpful to search in Windows 8.

Then in the search box type "regedit" and click on Apps from the right sidebar then click regedit in the main window.
Step 4
Then you will see a new window named "User Account Window". Just click on the Yes button.
We can open this window as in the following image which is opened by Windows logo key + R on your keypad and just type "regedit" and click on OK button.

On performing this action a new window will appear on your screen named Registry Editor as shown in following image.

Now in the registry editor just use the following path.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Microsoft >> Windows >> CurrentVersion >> Advanced

Now we have to create a registry file so just use the following steps as shown in the figure. Then select the name for this registry; for example in this we use BallonNotification.
Note
For 32 bit system select Dword (32 bit) value and for 64 bit system select Dword (64 bit) value.
Step 8
After that just right-click on the newly created file and in the dropdown menu click on the Modify tab.
Step 9
Finally a new window will appear on your screen as shown in the following image.

In this window if the value is 1 then modify to 0 and click on the Ok button and restart your system.
