As we already know, the Windows 8 operating system has many special, advanced and improved features, such as an improved search, an improved Task Manager and inclusion of the Metro UI . It also allows us to add new folders and items in a library of Windows Explorer in Windows 8. We can even add a new library to Windows Explorer in Windows 8.
In this article we will learn how to add or remove a library category and new folders in a category in Windows 8.
Steps to Add library category and folder in itself
Step 1
First, we have to move on Start window screen in Windows 8.
Step 2
Then click on the Desktop icon present in the Windows 8 Start screen.

Then right-click on the "MyComputer" icon on the Desktop window and click on the open in the drop down menu.
Step 4
Now we can find a library category in all of the Windows Explorer window which is located towards the second top-left of the Windows Explorer screen, as shown in following image.

If you want to add a new library to this category then you have to right-click on Libraries and select the new->library option from the drop down list as shown in the following image.

When you perform the above action then the new library will be added in this category as shown in the figure.
According to our choice you can give any name to it.

Now if you want to add new folders to this new library then you have to right-click on Libraries and select the properties option from the drop down list as shown in following image.

When you click on properties then a new window will appear named new library properties as below.

Now to add a new folder just click on the add button that is in the preceding window then a new window appears as in.

Now select whichever you want to add and then just click on the include folder as shown in the following image.
Note
We can also delete or rename the library as well as its folders.
