Zoom-in and Zoom- Out Operation in Word 2013

You can apply zoom-in and zoom-out for your own Word document. Because Word provides this functionality. Zoom-in enlarges the size of text whereas Zoom-out reduces the size of the text.

Here I am going to describe only "Zoom-in" and "Zoom-out" operations.

Zoom just changes the size of the font on-screen without affecting the other attributes. We can apply the zoom operation in several ways described below.

Zoom-in Using View tab

Step 1

Write some simple text in a Word document. Or use "=rand()".

Go to the "View" tab and click on the "Zoom" button.

The Zoom dialog box opens where you can increase or decrease the font of the text by selecting "Zoom to", which is 100% by default.

You can also select the custom percentage. Then click  on the "OK" button. Then you will see the effect.
