Introduction
In this article, we are describing how to disable the pinning of programs to the Taskbar in Windows 8. If you "Enabled" this setting then you can not change the Taskbar icons whose programs are already pinned in the Taskbar. If this setting is enabled then previously pinned programs in the Taskbar will continue to be shown. The user can not unpin these previously pinned programs from the Taskbar and the user can not pin new programs to the Taskbar.
Windows 8 provides the "Disable Pinning Programs to Task Bar in Windows 8" option. If you have "Disabled" or "Not Configured" this setting then the user can change the pinned programs in the Taskbar.
