OpenAI Introduces Canvas to Write and Code

OpenAI Canvas

OpenAI has introduced a new feature called "Canvas" for ChatGPT, allowing users to collaborate more effectively with the AI. Canvas opens in a separate window, enabling you and ChatGPT to work together seamlessly on projects beyond simple chat. This early beta introduces a novel approach to collaboration, allowing you to create and refine ideas side by side.

Canvas provides a more intuitive space for collaborating with ChatGPT, enabling you to focus on your project while receiving valuable feedback and suggestions. ChatGPT can better understand the context of your work, allowing it to provide more relevant and tailored assistance. You retain full control over your project, with the ability to edit text or code directly within Canvas.

A convenient menu of shortcuts simplifies tasks like adjusting writing length, debugging code, and performing other common actions. Easily revert to previous versions of your work using the back button. Canvas automatically opens when ChatGPT detects scenarios where it can be helpful. You can also manually trigger it by including "use canvas" in your prompt.
