Microsoft announced on Wednesday that it is rolling out a new feature that allows users to share files between their iPhone and Windows 10 or Windows 11 PCs. This feature works through the Phone Link and Link to Windows apps and is currently being tested by Windows Insiders.
Windows Insiders can now download the latest update for the Phone Link app to start sharing files between their iPhones and PC. However, it's not yet known when this feature will be available to all app users.
Last year, Microsoft introduced the Phone Link app for iPhones, which lets users make and receive calls, send iMessages, access contacts, and view notifications from their iPhone directly on their Windows PC. Before this, the app was only available for Android users.
Although the release date for the general public hasn't been announced, this new feature shows Microsoft’s goal to make Windows more user-friendly for iPhone users.
