Google's Whisk: A New Way to Remix Your Photos

Google Labs is testing a new tool called Whisk that helps you create unique images by mixing three photos. Instead of just using text to describe what you want, Whisk lets you choose photos.

Subject: the main person or object in the image (like your own photo).

Scene: the background (like a futuristic city).

Style: the overall look (like an anime theme).

Whisk uses Google’s Imagen 3 model to combine these photos and create a new image. It also creates a caption for the selected photos to guide the tool. If you want to add more details, you can use text prompts. For example, you can say, The person is riding a flying bike in the city.

Sometimes, the tool might not be perfect. For example, the person in the image may look slightly different, like a change in height, hairstyle, or skin tone. But you can fix this by editing the prompts that guide the image.

Right now, Whisk is only available in the United States. If you live in the U.S., you can try it by visiting labs.google/whisk.

Google says Whisk is still an experiment, but it’s a fun way to be creative and play with photos and styles.
