As a WordPress Developer at DronaHQ, you will be responsible for front-end development, theme customizations, and plugin integrations for their WordPress-based learning platform. Your tasks will include developing and modifying themes, integrating and customizing plugins, optimizing front-end components, and ensuring adherence to WordPress coding standards and performance best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and modify WordPress themes and child themes based on designs and mockups.
- Integrate plugins and customize their functionalities using hooks and actions.
- Build and optimize front-end components, pages, and sections.
- Ensure all work meets WordPress coding standards and performance best practices.
- Troubleshoot bugs and debugging issues.
- Provide technical assistance to colleagues and internal clients.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and APIs.
- Familiarity with Git source control and publishing workflows.
Primary Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript for front-end customization and user experience enhancement.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with responsive design.
- Awareness of security best practices.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Proficiency in HTML, MySQL, PHP, and version control.
- Prior experience with WordPress.
