Job Description

Join Microsoft's Business Applications and Platform Studio to innovate in AI Enterprise Resource Planning (AI ERP) software. As a UX Designer 2, you'll empower finance professionals through AI-driven solutions, fostering collaboration and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for customers, leveraging feedback, data, and business requirements to drive UX direction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, customer-centric outcomes.
  • Produce UI designs showcasing excellence and clear user experiences, including storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Embrace the "One Microsoft" ethos, considering holistic company value in all solutions.
  • Initiate UX team-building efforts and contribute to a diverse, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field, plus 3+ years of experience OR equivalent industry experience.
  • Portfolio demonstrating expertise across information architecture, usability, interaction, and visual design for UI.
  • Proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Agile experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, supporting and leveraging User Research.
  • Ability to create polished UX documentation, functional specs, prototypes, and user flows.

Preferred

  • Ability to drive clarity in ambiguous situations.
  • Understanding of comprehensive design systems and holistic UI toolkits.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting work to peers.
  • Experience scoping, prioritizing, and estimating design efforts accurately.
  • Design experience in enterprise-scale cloud software or services, particularly AI-driven solutions.
  • Awareness of inclusive design principles, including accessibility.
