Job Description

We are seeking a creative, self-motivated User Experience Designer to join our team at Salesforce. As part of our global UX team, you will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, solving complex design challenges across web, mobile, and tablet platforms. You will have the unique opportunity to influence product design, shape new experiences for millions of users, and contribute to Salesforce’s success by advocating for the end-user in every stage of the design process.

What You’ll Do

  1. Lead UX Vision & Strategy. Communicate and influence the UX design vision across multiple teams, including Design, Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
  2. Collaborate for Success. Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver functional, user-centered designs for web and mobile applications.
  3. Solve Complex Design Challenges. Tackle intricate user experience problems and develop clear, efficient, and delightful solutions.
  4. User-Centric Research. Use analytics, user testing, and research to make informed decisions and iterate on product designs to ensure the best user experience.
  5. Promote Design Excellence. Evangelize the design-thinking culture and reinforce best practices, establishing new interface guidelines and design patterns.
  6. Cross-functional Influence. Build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders across disciplines to push the UX vision forward.

What We’re Looking For

  1. Experience. 4-7 years of experience designing and delivering products within cross-functional teams from concept to completion.
  2. Design Methodology. Deep understanding and hands-on experience in user-centered design practices, with a constant drive to improve your processes and deliver simple, intuitive solutions.
  3. Collaborative Spirit. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative solutions.
  4. Tool Proficiency. Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  5. User Research & Analytics. Experience in using analytics and user research methods to make data-driven design decisions.
  6. Communication Skills. Strong communicator who can articulate design concepts clearly and inspire others to adopt the UX vision.
  7. Educational Background. A BA/BS or MA/MS in a design-related field or equivalent experience from a recognized design school.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with CRM or enterprise software design, particularly in the context of business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with design systems, data visualization solutions, or data management software.
