As a Technical Support Engineer within the Customer Service & Support (CSS) organization at Microsoft, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer success. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues for our commercial customers. Key Responsibilities
Response and Resolution
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer technical issues promptly, leveraging Microsoft’s tools and best practices.
- Collaborate effectively within and across teams to deliver timely solutions to customers.
- Participate in communities with peers and engage in continuous learning to enhance technical and professional proficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and product updates through training and readiness activities.
- Identify and report potential product defects and improvement areas to senior engineers, contributing to Microsoft’s ongoing product enhancements.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of technical support, technical consulting, or information technology experience; OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in English language (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft technologies and products is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
