As a Technical Support Engineer within the Customer Service & Support (CSS) team, you will play a crucial role in delivering customer success. You will own, troubleshoot, and solve complex technical issues, accelerating your career growth by honing problem-solving, collaboration, and research skills, and developing your technical proficiency. This role is onsite at Microsoft.
Responsibilities
Response and Resolution
- Own, investigate, and solve complex customer technical issues, acting as an advisor to the customer.
- Collaborate within and across teams, leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices to resolve issues effectively.
Readiness
- Lead in building communities with peer delivery roles and share knowledge through readiness programs, technical coaching, and mentoring.
- Deepen technical and professional proficiency through training and readiness activities.
Product/Process Improvement
- Engage with Microsoft Engineering/Supportability teams to investigate potential product defects and contribute to product improvements.
- Develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools to drive improvements in Microsoft products.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements
- 5+ years of technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience; OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 3+ years of technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience.
Language Qualification. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
