Role Overview

As a Technical Support Engineer within CSS, you will play a pivotal role in building trust and confidence for every individual and organization we serve. Your responsibilities will include:

Response and Resolution

  • Investigating and solving complex technical issues for customers, serving as their trusted advisor.
  • Collaborating within and across teams, leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices to ensure swift issue resolution.

Readiness

  • Leading in building communities with peer delivery roles and sharing knowledge through readiness programs, technical coaching, and mentoring.
  • Continuously enhancing your technical proficiency through training and readiness initiatives.

Product/Process Improvement

  • Engaging with Microsoft Engineering/Supportability teams to drive product improvements and develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical support, technical consulting, or IT experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong expertise in network and/or VoIP technologies, including Routing and Switching Protocols, TCP, DNS, QoS, SIP, VLANs, WAN protocols, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 technologies, particularly Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams.
  • Desirable experience in areas such as Office 365 Authentication, voice offerings, voice protocols (e.g., SIP), Azure AD Connect, Unified Communications solutions, and network capture/analysis tools.

Language Qualification. Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
