We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to oversee and lead projects focused on data analysis, reporting, and visualization. As a key member of our project management team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, UX experts, and business stakeholders. You will ensure that data-related projects are delivered on time, meet business requirements, and are executed within the established budget. This role will provide you with the opportunity to shape the data strategy of the organization and drive impactful analytics and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management. Lead the development and management of project plans for data analytics, reporting, and visualization initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
2. Collaboration. Coordinate effectively with data engineers to integrate relevant data sources, ensuring the availability of accurate and comprehensive datasets for reporting.
3. Stakeholder Management. Engage with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, translating those needs into actionable project plans.
4. Cross-functional Leadership. Schedule and conduct regular project meetings with cross-functional teams to track project progress, resolve any challenges, and keep all stakeholders aligned.
5. Data Visualization. Collaborate with UX experts to design and develop user-friendly and visually compelling dashboards and reports tailored to business requirements.
6. Quality Assurance. Oversee the development, design, and maintenance of dashboards and reporting solutions while conducting rigorous quality checks and data validation to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the data.

Requirements

1. Educational Background. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
2. Proven Experience. Minimum 9 years of experience as a Project Manager in the data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
3. Organizational Skills. Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail.
4. Problem-Solving Skills. Strong analytical skills to address project challenges and translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable plans.
5. Technical Proficiency. Familiarity with data management tools and platforms, particularly the Microsoft Azure data management suite (MSSQL, Data Factory, Azure Cloud Monitoring).
6. Programming Knowledge. Experience in Python scripting is a plus.
7. Quality Assurance. Hands-on experience in data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy of reports and visualizations.
