As a Technical Program Manager II, you will play a crucial role in driving deployment processes and optimizing operational workflows. Your expertise in project management, data analysis, and process engineering will help ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our cloud infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze deployment progress, blockers, and incidents using existing tools and create new reports and dashboards via Microsoft tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Gain a deep understanding of workflows and collaborate with data centers and engineering teams to enhance processes and drive standardization.
- Manage deployments of servers, network, storage, and supporting infrastructure, ensuring adherence to cycle time and lead-time goals.
- Utilize enhanced tools and dashboards for daily and weekly triage of blockers and predictive demand indicators.
- Develop strategies for managing deployment demand in alignment with organizational goals related to throughput and cycle time.
- Drive common methodologies for various deployment activities and collaborate closely with data center PMs and engineering groups.
- Define engineering requirements and work with software engineering teams to automate processes.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of industry experience in enterprise process engineering, program management, and infrastructure deployment operations.
- BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in product/process design for operational optimization at scale.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles (Planning, Sourcing, Delivering) and Six Sigma experience is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis, SQL, and Power BI.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Proven track record of partnering with software engineering teams to drive tooling and automation improvements.
- Understanding of process engineering and optimization, with the ability to gather and define business requirements.
