BOLD is seeking a Technical Specialist who can translate functional, technical, and architectural views into detailed technical designs. This role involves collaborating with the Engineering Manager and technical architect, mentoring developers, and ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
About the Team
The BOLD Platform services team designs, creates, manages, and maintains scalable and distributed services for web and mobile product applications. The services are based on Microservices architecture and handle millions of transactions daily using technologies like .Net framework, Python, Java, SQL Server, My SQL, Graph DB, SOLR, and more.
Responsibilities
- Conduct requirement analysis, coding, design, implementation, testing, problem analysis, resolution, and technical documentation.
- Lead and oversee developers through product design, planning, development, implementation, and system testing.
- Conduct team meetings to review schedules and operational milestones.
- Lead technical design discussions, choose appropriate frameworks, and apply design patterns consistently.
- Act as an interface between multiple teams when required.
- Provide functional, design, and code reviews.
- Share information on new technologies and manage a development toolset.
- Lead quality improvement conversations and communicate project risks with senior managers.
Requirements
- Excellent hands-on experience in MVC, C#.
- Experience in SQL Server queries.
- Strong web concepts.
- Experience with RESTful services and Web API.
- Knowledge of design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience in database design.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Azure.
- Experience with distributed computing and microservices architecture.
- Good verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to create strategies for monetizing and evolving solutions.
- In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the technology space.
