About the Role
As an Ionic Mobile Apps Developer at Darwin, you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous delivery within the Digital Products department. This role involves being a technical authority for development teams, building effective teams, coding to Agile stories, and embodying best practices in security, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and testability.
Your Mission
- Be a go-to technical authority for development teams
- Build, support, and mentor effective teams
- Perform coding to Agile stories with unit tests
- Be an active member of the MMC Technology community
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and trends
- Advocate best practices and principles within the organization
- Champion good agile practices
- Facilitate a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative working environment
- Contribute to thought leadership and strategy for the Software Engineering organization
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure solutions comply with policies
What You Need to Have
- Senior Engineer with proven leadership experience
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical colleagues
- Proven track record of delivering software with diverse languages and technologies
- Strong people management skills
- Experience working with Agile at Scale, Lean, and Continuous Delivery approaches
- Experience with cloud-native software architectures
- Proven experience in Security-driven design practices
- Experience in CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Romanian and English
- Strong experience in Ionic, Angular (React considered), NodeJS, Express.JS, LESS (SASS), MongoDB
- Broad experience across multiple programming languages and frameworks
- Experience with Unit Testing and Integration Testing
- Knowledge of SDLC processes and practices and experience with Confluence, JIRA, ADO, Github, etc.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience designing and deploying applications on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
- Desirable experience with Kafka, NServiceBus, Camunda, Dremio, RabbitMQ
