As a Technical Architect at Mphasis, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Your role will involve overseeing code reviews, assisting developers, and ensuring the smooth implementation of AEM components. You will also be pivotal in addressing production support requests, resolving issues, and ensuring optimal performance of AEM implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of AEM components and page components.
• Create customized AEM dialogs using JavaScript, jQuery, Coral UI, and CSS.
• Develop and manage AEM workflows, including custom user interaction dialogs and conditional flows.
• Conduct code reviews, merge/deploy code, and assist developers in troubleshooting issues.
• Identify and resolve issues in On-Prem AEM implementations.
• Provide technical guidance on AEM architecture and various layers of the system.
• Respond to and manage production support requests during offshore/APAC hours.
• Address any issues related to AEM implementations, ensuring quick resolution and minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with development teams to address challenges and provide solutions.
• Communicate effectively, articulating problems and solutions to stakeholders.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of AEM’s architecture, including user groups, permissions, and the dispatcher.
• Utilize basic knowledge of J2EE concepts such as servlets, filters, and services.

Technical Skills

1. Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Expertise in AEM component and page development, customized dialog creation, and workflow management.
2. JavaScript & jQuery. Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, Coral UI, and CSS for AEM customizations.
3. Dispatcher & Webserver. Familiarity with AEM dispatcher and webservers (IIS or Apache).
4. J2EE Concepts. Basic knowledge of servlets, filters, and services.

Desired Skills and Experience

1. Experience. 7 to 9 years of experience in AEM development and architecture.
2. Graphic User Interface Design. Strong skills in aesthetics and UI development (60% primary competency).
3. JavaScript Development. Experience in JavaScript and jQuery for UI development (20% secondary competency).
4. Technical Proficiency. Deep understanding of AEM architecture, issue identification, and resolution.
