Job Description

The Technical Architect role at Mphasis focuses on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development and involves overseeing the design and implementation of AEM solutions. You will be responsible for code reviews, assisting other developers, and handling production support requests. The role also requires strong communication skills to articulate problems and solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Development. Develop AEM components and page components, and create customized AEM dialogs using JavaScript, jQuery, Coral UI, and CSS.
  2. Support. Respond to production support requests during offshore/APAC hours.
  3. Architecture. Understand and work with AEM’s architecture, including components, workflows, user groups, permissions, and dispatchers.
  4. Issue Resolution. Identify and resolve issues in On-Prem AEM implementations.
  5. Collaboration. Assist other developers in problem-solving and communicate solutions effectively.

Technical Skills

  • AEM Development. Experience with AEM component and page component development.
  • Customization. Ability to create customized AEM dialogs with JavaScript, jQuery, Coral UI, and CSS.
  • Architecture Knowledge. Good understanding of AEM architecture, user groups, permissions, and dispatchers.
  • Basic J2EE Concepts. Knowledge of servlets, filters, and services.
  • Dispatcher and Webserver. Familiarity with dispatchers and webservers (IIS or Apache).

Experience Required. 7 to 9 years of experience in AEM development and related technologies.
Desired Skills

  1. Primary Competency. Graphic User Interface Design with a focus on aesthetics (60%).
  2. Secondary Competency. UI Development with JavaScript (20%).
  3. Tertiary Competency. UI Development with JavaScript and jQuery (20%).
