Tech Mahindra is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to join our team in Pune. In this role, you will collaborate directly with clients to understand their business objectives and user experience needs. You will lead design efforts, manage a team of UX designers, and ensure that design solutions align with client goals. Your role will involve client interaction, team mentorship, and staying updated with industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their business goals, user experience requirements, and project objectives.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and presentation of design concepts and strategies.
- Lead the creation of interaction design concepts, prototypes, and actionable design strategies based on client insights.
- Develop site maps, user flows, wireframes, and other design deliverables to guide the design process.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, ensuring alignment with client project objectives.
- Mentor and guide a team of UX designers, ensuring a unified UX vision across the Creative Team.
- Oversee and conduct user research activities to gain insights into target audiences.
- Plan and execute usability testing sessions, incorporating client feedback to refine design solutions.
- Effectively communicate design decisions, project progress, and client feedback to both clients and internal teams.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate innovative practices into projects.
- Educate clients on the importance of UX design and its impact on their business outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience. Proven experience in a UX design role with a strong portfolio of successful design projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar.
- Strong understanding of interaction design, user research, and usability testing.
- Communication Skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
- Leadership. Experience leading design teams and managing client relationships.
Good to Have
- Industry Experience. Experience in a service-based organization with exposure to diverse industry verticals such as telecom, e-commerce, enterprise applications, FMCG, etc.
- AI Tools. Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT and their applications in UX design.
